New Build Transformation

The last planting of the year was completed this week at this new-build garden near Sudbury. Proof that with some imagination and a lot of hard work, a bland patch of sloped lawn can be turned into something beautiful.
My design incorporates space for a home office, an intimate seating area surrounded by planting, and a stylish water table to be enjoyed from the house.
Seating areas have been cut into the incline to improve privacy, and a winding gravel path provides a sense of journey and ensure not everything can be seen from the house.
In time, once the plants have taken off and the birds and pollinators start visiting, this will be a magical space.
